In this reimagining of 1999’s She’s All That, teen social media influencer Padgett’s humiliating on-camera breakup goes viral, leading her to make a risky bet to save her reputation: she swears she can turn scruffy antisocial Cameron into prom king material. But things get complicated when she finds herself falling for him IRL.

Addison definitely tried her best and with more experience she’ll progressively will get better. The movie highlights some good facts about being an influencer. The acting was a little better than expected for the lead role who is a TikToker. Some may call it bubblegum fair, campy, or derivative, but it avoids the insensitive pitfalls of its predecessor, “She’s All That”, while elevating the story, albeit a tiny bit, with better chemistry and a kinder spirit.

While this remake is a fun idea, and does elevate the story, overall it comes out worse than the original. The story is also literally reused, while the portrayal of teenagers and Gen Z in general couldn’t be less accurate. We can also collectively agree that movies and shows by famous people, in this case Addison Rae and Kourtney Kardashian, just suck.
Verdict:
As teen romcoms go, this one wasn’t horrible, but overall not worth your Friday evening, unless you are a TikToker.
