Cardi B surprised her fans by on Sunday as she announced that she is pregnant with her second child.
The WAP rapper, shared a nude snap of herself covered in white paint while cradling her blossoming bump.
The snapshot shows the star with her eyes closed and her long black hair draping down her back. She wore several chunky gold bangles and long glitzy earrings for the shot.
She captioned the post: "#2 ♥? @offsetyrn."
Offset shared the post to his Instagram Stories alongside the caption: "Another blessing."
Famous faces and fans of the duo were quick to share their excitement at the announcement as they took to the comment section of the Cardi's post.
Keeping Up With The Kardashian star Khloe, who was also celebrating her 37th birthday on Sunday, wrote: "Congratulations!!" with heart emojis.
Dancer Jane Mena also commented: "Omggggg. Biggest Congratulations Cardi....whewwww"
And fashion designer Angel Brinks penned: "Yaaaay omg!!!! I’m so happy!!!!"
Within an hour of putting up the post, it had received over four million likes.
The couple are already parents to their two-year-old daughter Kulture Kiari, while Offset also has three kids from a previous relationship.
The rapper, 28, showcased her growing bump during a performance with Migos at the BET Awards. She wore a blingy jumpsuit which was cut out around her stomach.
The awards are a ceremony which celebrate the achievements of black performers across sport and entertainment.
Cardi's announcement is the second time the star has revealed a pregnancy on TV. In April 2018, the New York native announced she was expecting baby number one while she was performing on Saturday Night Live.
The rapper and 29-year-old Offset married in a secret ceremony on September 20, 2017.
The duo didn't confirm their nuptials until almost a year later when she made the announcement that she was pregnant with Kulture.
The couple have certainly endured a turbulent relationship, with Cardi B even filing for divorce in September 2020.
While Cardi seemed intent on going her separate ways from her husband, she dismiss the divorce in November 2020.
After the pair made up, the singer took to Instagram Live to say: "You know how I be arguing with y’all on social media? That’s exactly how we are, between me and my man.
"So when people be saying I be doing s*** for attention, with this and that, no, I’m just a crazy b***h."
She went on to describe how quickly her mood can change and continued: "I just be starting to miss [him]… It’s hard not to talk to your best friend. It’s really hard not to talk to your best friend."
