Actress Shilole overwhelmed after MPs visit her food outlet

Celebrated Tanzanian actress turned entrepreneur Zena Yusuf Mohammed alias Shilole is over the moon for the support she received from various members of parliament in Tanzania. Taking to social media, Shilole, who also doubles up a singer, could not hide her gratitude as she publicly thanked the MPs who visited her food outlet to support her business.

According to photos she shared on social media, Shishi, as she is popularly known, was captured amongst the leaders as she officially launched the second branch of her restaurant in Dodoma, Tanzania. 

Thanking everyone for their support, especially the leaders, Shishi also admitted that the entrepreneurship Journey has never been easy, but she will keep pushing.

“Haijawahi kuwa rahisi sitarajii pia kwamba kuna siku itakuwa rahisi… ni kwa neema za Mwenyezi Mungu. Namshukuru Muumba wangu kwa rehma hii ya kuweza kuungwa mkono na watu wake ninapofanya mambo yangu. (It has never been easier I do not expect that one day it will be easy… it is by the grace of Allah. I thank my Creator for this mercy of being able to be supported by His people as I do my things.)" she wrote.

Expressing her gratitude, especially to the leaders, Shishi confessed that she was overwhelmed by the support they have granted her throughout her journey.

“Nimejawa na furaha na shukrani isiyo kifani, ni heshima ya kipekee sana wamenipa viongozi wangu hawa. Nautafakari ukuu wa Mungu wangu kuweza kuniketisha na wakuu, sina cha kulipa. Asanteni sana viongozi wangu. (I am full of joy and gratitude; it is a very special honor given to me by my leaders. I will meditate on the greatness of my God. I am sitting down with leaders; I do not know how I can ever thank them enough. Thank you so much my leaders), she added.

It seems the stars are aligning for Shishi. The milestone in her entrepreneurial journey comes barely a month after she confessed that she was happily married and would do anything to protect her marriage and husband. She insisted that she normally gets annoyed when people abuse her husband for no reason.

“Kitu ambacho sipendi kuona mume wangu anafanyiwa ni kuonewa, au kutukanwa bila sababu, jamani hapo tutaonana wabaya, kwanza kwanini umtukane mume wangu? Sipendi hayo mambo mimi na nipo tayari kupambana na yoyote yule atakayemvunjia heshima mwanaume wangu. (The only thing I don't like to see my husband do is be bullied or insulted for no reason. I don't like these things, and I am ready to fight anyone who will disrespect my husband.") She said.
