If you want 'pointie' kids look for a white man — Fan tells Vera Sidika

Socialite and businesswoman Vera Sidika has come out guns blazing to respond to fans who keep on saying her children will be dark-skinned. Taking to social media in a furious rant, the Vetox founder posted numerous screenshots of her previous chats with a fan who advised her to get children with a white man if she wants light-skinned children.

According to the unidentified user, Vera ought to consider this ‘crucial’ factor in case she wants her children to be light-skinned.

“You’ll have to give birth with a white man so that your baby comes out mixed because if it is with Brown Mauzo your children will get your ancestors' skin colour and come out dark,” wrote the user. Vera responded by asking the user whether dark-skinned children are not attractive.

“It is very unfortunate whenever someone writes, ‘Oh your baby will be dark or he/she won’t be cute because he/she will be dark. So y’all mean dark babies are not cute? It gets me sick to my damn stomach. And what is wrong with dark babies, aren’t they human?” she wrote.

Their chat was far from over with the eager fan going on to accuse the Nalia crooner of solely posting white babies on her profile yet claiming she is okay with having dark children. In her defence, Vera explained that most black men are dead beat dads who walk out on their women after getting them pregnant. According to her, it is because of this reason you are unlikely to see a black man on social media enjoying his kids’ company.

“Because that is what I see on the internet. The dad’s carrying babies on my explore page. I repost what I see, I don’t go out looking for pictures. Maybe black men should learn more about sticking around when their women are pregnant and after. Bond with their kids and do fun stuff like these white men are doing.

“If at all black men would stick around to the end, then we would see more daddy/son, daddy/daughter videos and pictures online. Most get women pregnant and leave them to be single mothers, then come telling me, ‘why are you only posting white dads and babies.’ Because that is what is trending all over on explore page so we repost,” she said.

Vera’s spat elicited mixed reactions among her fans who felt she was being caustic considering she went to the extremes of changing her skin colour.

“It gets sick to her stomach but she bleached her skin colour to be light cause she didn’t appreciate being dark skin like what is she even saying?” wrote a user by the name Jstvcks.

Another fan by the name, Madona_syombua too commented saying, “Well that energy was directed to the wrong place. Her argument of black men not staying around for their kids is wrong and faceless. You get the feed you search most hence why she's seeing that most. She needs to start looking the other or cut the hypocrisy.”
