Akothee showers baby daddy who once abandoned her with love on birthday

On January 10, 2021, Akothee took to social media to wish the father of her eldest son, Ojwang a happy and birthday. Expressing gratitude in a heartfelt Instagram post, Akothee thanked Papa Ojwang for his continued support and understanding when it comes to co-parent and being in his son’s life.

“Happy birthday papa Ojwang, my onion. The only man who knows the button to press and Akothee is off her feet. Papa, may God bless you abundantly as we continue to figure out this co-parenting parade. I know I am a small devil in your eyes, but trust me I am the best partner in crime you ever met.

“Your son is always and will always be in safe hands, just trust me a little. I miss our fights, let’s start again 2021, I’m bored. Help me wish one of my baby daddies, Papa Ojwang a happy birthday... I love you bwana Markus Meyer,” she wrote.

Rough past

Akothee and her Swiss baby daddy have gone through a lot together with the singer recently recalling being left to fend for herself while nine months pregnant after he abandoned her in Switzerland.

“I have never allowed my challenges cover my beautiful smile, no one knew I was thrown out of Switzerland 9 months pregnant to come back to Africa, his exact words ‘go back to Africa I have no time, energy or family to take care of you. I am not ready for a family now, you have too many children and a man cannot fall in love at 50.’ These words penetrated deep inside my stomach,” she wrote.

Out of options, Akothee decided to come back to Kenya and work as a taxi driver to make ends meet.

“Even during this time I had women who were jealous of me hated me, thinking I was living large and better life than them, even went as far as sleeping with my baby daddy. Little did they know the pain of rejection I was going through.

“I never told anyone my journey or pain, even my own children dint know anything, not even my family. They only saw a strong hard working taxi driver who now opened a restaurant and bar (The Stomp 196 in Shanzu.”she added.

Despite their bitter past, Akothee resolved to leave the hurt in the past and reconcile with him father for the sake of her son.

“Co-parenting is only possible with parents who moved on, and has accepted that now let’s concentrate on the children. As we move on with our different lives, the ones you see in court ups and downs are fighting love triangles, someone just want to cause pain for the other using the child as a tool, may God punish all of you thinking in this direction,” she wrote.
