It seems like gods of luck have been visiting former Churchill Show comedian George Njoroge alias Njoro. This is after the celebrated comedian revealed that he has reunited with his wife and, in even, got a second media job at KTN News.

In an interview, the 27-year-old stated that his children will now enjoy parental love, months after he completed his rehabilitation.

"I feel blessed and buoyed up. The situation was difficult but I managed to pull through. If God intervenes in your life, then you don't have to struggle or lose hope. My life changed and I am now managing my finances better. I had even separated with my wife and children (owing to depression) but we got back together," Njoro revealed.

Njoro, who landed a job at KTN News where he will co-host the Chamaa Show, alongside Wendy Loyce, added that he has not yet appointed a manager who would help him manage his now thriving career. However, the new host of the show that airs every Sunday from 4:30 pm to 5 pm, added that he is open to applications.

Just last month, Njoro landed a job at Flamingo Radio located in Nakuru County. He landed the job just days after completing a three-month therapy program after battling alcoholism and depression that saw him attempt suicide in July. Speaking about the two opportunities, Njoro, who could not hide his excitement, revealed that he was glad that doors opened up for him.

"The jobs came abruptly one after the other and the quick succession is nothing but a blessing," Njoro enthusiastically stated.

Asked what he would advise people who are currently walking through the path he walked a few months ago, the funnyman said that they too should never give up. He urged them that God will soon come to their rescue, and doors will open for them miraculously. He added that they should also reach out for help and talk and warned the youth against bottling things up.

"All I can tell anyone else out there battling with joblessness, depression and any other issues is to speak and reach out. Let them talk to friends, therapists and psychologists. It helps, and it's the beginning of a problem-solving process" he advised.

In July, Njoro opened up about his long battle with depression after 'losing everything' and being abandoned by most of his friends in the comedy world.

A month later, he announced he was taking a three-month break as he went into rehab to overcome his mental health issues.

"Guys, I will be away for some time, for treatment (1-3mnths) coz my "engine" ( brain) is not okay. No matter how good a car is, without an engine hakuna gari. I will be offline but I will be coming on Instagram live every Saturday at 8 pm to update you on how I am doing with the treatment," Njoro wrote.
