'The Rock' Dwayne Johnson has sent social media into meltdown after he unveiled an epic throwback shot taken when he was just seven years old. The 48-year-old actor, who rose to fame as a professional wrestler, left fans stunned as he debuted the never before seen portrait.

Dwayne hilariously even expressed his amazement that, as an adult, he would go on to be voted the Sexiest Man Alive in 2016. In the vintage snap, that Dwayne shared with his 200 million Instagram followers, the youngster donned a full head of curly locks and is completely unrecognisable from The Rock we know today.

The picture also features the younger Dwayne modelling a Hawaiian shirt and grinning at the camera. "Throwback to 7 years old in Hawaii, and just drippin’ cool with my buck teeth, aloha shirt and WTF is going on with my afro matted down on one side!?" Dwayne added in the caption.

"No way this stud doesn’t grow up to become Sexiest Man Alive," he added, alongside several hashtags: #HellooooLadies#BuckyJohnson#SmellsLikeHotDogs#KingOf2ndGrade. Dwayne's loyal fan base could not get enough of the incredible throwback and took to the comment section to express their disbelief.

"Thank you for posting this, now I feel better with my buck teeth," penned one fan. A second added: "The pic we all needed to wake up to!! Lol!!!" "Look at all that hair," penned another. Dwayne's epic throwback comes just over a month after the actor revealed that he had tested positive for Covid-19 alongside his wife and two daughters.

In his video, The Rock also urged his followers to boost their immune systems and wear their masks to stay safe. He added: "Stay disciplined. Boost your immune system. Commit to wellness. Wear your mask. Protect your family. "Be strict about having people over your house or gatherings. Stay positive. And care for your fellow human beings.
