Linet Munyali aka Size 8 has thanked God for getting her through a difficult pregnancy and keeping her son, Muraya Jnr safe.

In the appreciation post, the mother of two confided that she received bad news from her doctor concerning her health but instead of wallowing in worry and doubt, went ahead and carried her pregnancy with faith.

“This was about 7 months ago I had just gotten some bad news from the doctor and I just wanted to get my mind focused on other positive things so I decided to take some photos. Nothing pre-planned everything last minute by faith I said God you will see me thru and these pictures we are taking will be but testimonies. Look for sure this picture is now a testimony of what God can do,” she wrote.

To those uncertain of what the future holds, the gospel singer encouraged them to trust in God and watch Him work a miracle in their lives just as He did in hers.

“Am holding my baby Muraya Junior now as I write this post. Look at God. What a mighty God we serve! What you are going through now by faith take a picture believing that one day it will be used to testify to what God has done for you!”

Speaking on her family YouTube channel, the Pale Pale singer explained that her life was in danger and as a result, had to deliver her son prematurely.

“I almost died several times because of this pregnancy. It does not matter whether you have Sh10 million or Sh1 million; if you do not have life, you cannot enjoy what you have,” she said.

According to Size 8, she went through several serious bouts of blood pressure spikes and other health issues.

“I used to feel a sharp pain as if oxygen was not getting into my brain and started convulsing. At some point, I started getting minor strokes where my left side was completely paralyzed. I remember being taken for MRI scans.

“They were trying to find out if I had organ failure. They changed my medication and directed me to see a heart physician, where I was given some medicine and told to report back regularly for check-ups. My pressure, later on, normalised a little bit," shared Size 8.

Because of her worsening condition, doctors advised her to have the baby pre-term.

“The last scan I had revealed that I had 34 weeks, four days. So they were trying to see if they could buy more time. They tested and discovered that the baby’s heart rate was above 180 and concluded that they could not hold on anymore," she narrated.

Both Size 8 and her son are currently in perfect health.
