I was in your corner the whole time- Actor Ephy Saint to ex Chantelle

After their much-publicized breakup, former Tahidi High actor Ephraim Muriithi better known as Ephy Saint and his baby mama, Chantelle Petit have been doing their best to patch things up on a parenting level for the sake of their daughter, Summer.

The actor recently celebrated the mother of his daughter in a heartfelt social media post. In the Instagram post, Ephy admitted that he looked forward to the day Chantelle would see the good in him and realize he was always on her side.

“There is a lot of good in you and the person who took this picture knows it all, I pray there will come a time when you realized I was in your corner the whole time and you will choose to see the good in me, but this is not about me. Your year just started; may it be a prosperity galore and may the living Lord save and protect you even from self-distraction,” he wrote.

Nasty split

The couples ‘Insta war’ began about a year ago when Chantelle said that she was fed up with Saint's lies and the emotional anguish she says he put her through, saying that she was ready to call it quits. According to Petit, she was in a bumpy relationship with Saint and that he allegedly subjected her to emotional anguish, a position the actor shrugged off.

“My baby daddy has been talking trash about me on the web and I’m fed up. He is a pathological liar who has hurt so many women over the years. I think it’s time to expose him because I’m tired of the mind games he plays,” read her post.

“He told me countless times he was single and there was no one in his life. He made believe that I’m the love of his life I believed him. I loved him dearly with all my hearts.”

“I ignored so many red flags though and with that I accept responsibility. By that time I found out I was pregnant and I didn’t know what to do. The emotional abuse was so deep I had stopped seeing my worth. I was ready to walk away but deep down I was scared for my baby,” she posted.

In his response, Saint explained that he is on a ‘different path’ and that he was the best dad despite Chantelle’s claims.

“Namedropping is a way of clout chasing so I choose not to namedrop no one, I raise my daughter alone of course with help but I have changed more diapers than most men double my age. I am the best dad ever but a s*** husband I have been told, I own no one and no one owns me, we complement each other after having whole life separate. Those who know me matter and those who don’t know me well don’t matter,” he wrote.

The Monica actor was sometime back rumoured to have moved on with actress Brenda Wairimu, claims she denied during an interview with Kiss 100 in May 2019.

“I am not dating Ephy Saint but I am dating again,” she said.
