Janet Jackson’s ageless beauty has been a topic of conversation for years on end.

And her timeless appearance has sparked rumours that she may have had a helping hand from a friendly surgeon.

But despite floods of speculation, the 53-year-old singer has only ever admitted to having a nose job done and insists she’s never been under the knife.

However, experts at MYA Cosmetic Surgery believe she may have had a helping hand in achieving that “ageless” beauty of hers.

A surgeon from the clinic tells Mirror Online: "I believe Janet has had an upper/lower face and neck lift - facelift scars are normally hidden in the hairline and around the back of the ear to keep scarring discreet.

“The area at the bottom of the cheeks often referred to as the jowls can start to sag with the natural ageing process as soft tissue becomes deflated over time. The surgical procedure will pull and tighten the skin to give the face a rejuvenated look.

"I would certainly say that Janet has a surgical rhinoplasty procedure (nose reshaping) - the bridge, tip and nostrils appear thinner and on the more extreme side of a surgical transformation.

“This indicates a surgical rhinoplasty procedure, which has left her with an extremely slim nose with a slightly turned up tip.

“The cost of a rhinoplasty depends on many different physiological factors, the techniques used and the surgeon recommendations, however, they typically range from £6,000 to £10,000.

“It is important to note that a nose must be functional for breathing first and the aesthetic requests second when taking into consideration a rhinoplasty procedure. Good practising surgeons should refuse patients if they have unrealistic expectations.

"I would suggest Janet has had anti-wrinkle injections, often referred to as Botox, to her forehead and around her eyes (crow’s feet). This non-surgical treatment will create a smooth forehead and limit any frown or expression lines.

“The treatment will normally last three to six months; as muscle action gradually returns, the lines and wrinkles begin to reappear and need to be treated again.

“This procedure can give the appearance of smoother skin if you are after a youthful appearance or it can be used as a preventative measure to slow the process of getting fine lines or wrinkles.

"It is possible that Janet has had the non-surgical treatment of dermal fillers to her cheeks, often referred to as cheek fillers. Dermal fillers can be used in this area to re-introduce structure and volume along the cheekbone just like in Janet’s case.

"For many other women, fillers are used to plump up skin sections as the volume can be lost with the natural ageing process that both men and women go through.

“The procedure replaces soft tissue whilst filling in wrinkles/skin folds. Fillers can range in price depending on the area and amount used and usually range between £150 and £500 per session.

"Looking at past images of Janet, it is possible that she has undergone surgical breast enlargement. A breast enlargement aims to increase the size, shape, or fullness of the breast using an implant.

“I would assume that Janet may have requested a natural shape with more upper fullness while keeping in proportion to her frame.

“This can be achieved in many ways depending on the patient’s current breast tissue and surgeon recommendations with the choice of implant shape, size and placement of the implants. The average price of this procedure is £5,000 to £6,000.

“Breast shape and size can also change throughout a woman’s life for many reasons such as puberty, weight loss, weight gain, pregnancy etc. but in Janet’s case, I do believe it is a breast augmentation procedure.”

Mirror Online has contacted Janet's reps for comment.
