Kenya Film Commission (KFC) is set to put up a state-of-the-art film lab at the Dedan Kimathi university in Nyeri to the nurture film stars.
After an MoU between the commission, Nyeri County government and the university, all is set for the rollout targeting the youth with talents and passion in the film-making industry
"We are looking to expand the film sector, create employment in line with the Government's Big 4 agenda," Timothy Owase, the CEO of KFC, told Pulse.
Nyeri Governor Mutahi Kahiga and the University's Vice Chancellor Prof Kioni pledged to give the youth and the film industry all their support.
KFC will also be hosting the Kalasha Film Market from April 1, 2020 at the KICC.
