Detectives have launched investigations into the disappearance of a police vehicle from a government yard.
According to police, the Toyota Land Cruiser pick up, GKA 024V, had been parked at the Security of Government Buildings Police Line Shauri Moyo and was unserviceable since October 4, 2019.
The police driver who had parked it there went to check on it on December 2 but found it missing. He then made a report at the station. The vehicle belongs to the transport pool at Jogoo House.

Elsewhere, suspected gunmen shot and injured two people in Nairobi’s Fedha estate.
One of those shot was an off duty policeman.
The gang of three had stolen from a shop in the area on Monday night and was escaping when they shot the victims.
The first victim was a woman who was shot in the leg as she closed her businesses. The gang grabbed her bag and escaped on foot.

As the gang was fleeing from the scene they ran into the police officer who was walking to his house and shot him in the thigh.
Nairobi police boss Philip Ndolo said they had dispatched a squad to look for the gang.
Meanwhile, a suspected thug was shot dead in a botched robbery on the busy Southern bypass road in Nairobi.
The man was among a gang that had been waylaying motorists and pedestrians at a stretch near Lenana School and robbed them of valuables. Police have intensified patrols in the area.
