Over the past couple of days, Pastor Susan Munene of Overcomers Hope Ministry in Kasarani, Nairobi has been the talk of town over a viral video preaching to married couples about sex.
Describing the act using the phrase ‘Twa Twa’, Pastor Munene said sex is the only game made by God and couples should do it everywhere including the car and kitchen.
After the phrase went viral, Kenyans on social media suggested that it should be incorporated into a song.
Well, it seems the artistes were listening and two songs titled ‘Twa Twa’; one by Magix Enga and the other by KRG The Don have been released.
Addressing Harmonize
In Magix’s song featuring Zzero Sufuri, Nuclear and Mkadule, the producer-cum-musician spoke on a recent tiff he had with Tanzanian singer Harmonize over the latter’s ‘Uno’ song beat.
Magix had accused Harmonize of copyright infringement for sampling his ‘Dundaing’ beat in the song and it was subsequently pulled down from YouTube.
However, ‘Uno’ was later re-uploaded and Magix urged his followers to view the song, signalling an understanding between the two artists. “Everybody say Uno. Now available on YouTube both audio and video,” wrote Magix in support of the song.
In ‘Twa Twa’, Magix sings “Uliza Harmonize anajua me ndio kutwa twa.”
KRG, on the other hand, recruited Spizzo for his track, with the hook aping Pastor Munene’s advice.
“Twa twa tunapiga twa twa, kwa kiti tunapiga twa twa, kwa ndae tunapiga twa twa…”
Though Pastor Munene’s words have offered a source of inspiration to the artistes, she pointed out that her message was not directed at everyone.
“I condemn sexual intercourse before marriage, I condemn sex among the children, teenagers and I recommend that sex is only meant for the married and parents," she told Ureport.
