Veteran Kenyan singer Wahu Kagwi was on Thursday morning arrested and charged for driving without a licence, overtaking carelessly and obstruction.
According to reports, the singer was arraigned at the Milimani Law Courts for the offences committed along Ring Road, Kileleshwa.
The charge sheet read that Wahu was driving without a valid driver’s licence after failing to carry the document, contrary to the Traffic Act.
She was also accused of not only dangerously overtaking several vehicles but also using her vehicle to obstruct other vehicles.
Wahu denied the three charges and was released on Sh15,000 cash bail.
