The relationship between gospel singer Weezdom and Bahati's wife Diana Marua is on a new bend.

This is after Marua took to Instagram to reveal that Weezdom, at one time, turned against her.

Marua explained that the singer who is signed into her husband's EMB records did not know her well enough to warrant his actions.

She, however, noted that she is grateful that their relationship has taken a different turn and changed for the better.

“I barely knew you, our only encounters were just but hellos... you turned against me even without knowing who I was, not that it even mattered to me, anyway. But our paths crossed again and now you are blood,” said Diana.

The mother of two went on to wish Weezdom well in his career endeavours adding that they were in it together.

“I'm proud of who you are becoming. May God use you as his own mouthpiece to speak life. Let's build this empire and see each other win. Weezdom, the only way right now is upward and forward,” she wrote.

In an interview with Mzazi Willy M Tuva eight months ago, Weezdom claimed that Diana Marua changed Bahati for the worse hence his unceremonious exit from the label.

“I respect Bahati a lot because he is the one who brought up my music career. I consider him my brother but there were some changes which started emerging and the changes involved someone called Diana Marua. She (Marua) made sure I exited the record. She made Bahati change on me professionally and as a brother and since I was just starting as an artist, I decided to send myself out there so God can open my paths as well,” stated the singer.

In July, however, Weezdom ate humble pie, made a U-turn and apologized to his mentor.

“It’s a personal decision because he is a person who mentored me, there is no way I can give my story without him being mentioned. It reached a time and I thought of how I had been attacking him.

"I am the one who asked for forgiveness, my friends, my pastor, my mum has been helped by him at some point so she takes him as his son. People told me to stop bashing Bahati in the media. They told me Bahati has God’s anointing and my destiny was intertwined with his.

"It’s embarrassing for a man to ask another man for forgiveness but I decided to humble myself given that Bahati is my musical father. EMB records is home and Bahati is my brother,” he said.
