Bongo star Diamond Platinumz and his fiancée Tanasha Donna welcomed their first child together on Wednesday, 2nd October.
The baby boy is Tanasha’s first child and Diamond’s fourth. Simba, as he is popular known, has two children with Ugandan Socialite Zari Hassan, and a son with Tanzanian model Hamisa Mobetto.
In as much as the newest parents in town have not revealed neither their baby’s face nor name, it is the twist of fate in his birthday that leaves us in awe.
Diamond got to celebrate his 30th birthday a twofold as he also welcomed his fourth child with whom he now shares a birthday.
The baby’s arrival was indisputably a big moment for the crooner as it saw him cancel all his plans to welcome the bundle of joy.
Flanked by his mother, Diamond cut his birthday cake at the hospital where his son was delivered.The hitmaker took to Instagram to revel the arrival of his son, a perfect birthday gift.
However, he didn’t reveal much other than his happiness in sharing a birthday with his son.
“Happy birthday to us,” he shared.
Through her Insta story, Tanasha was obviously elated at how the arrival of baby Simba had coincided with that of her fiancé.
“17 hours of labour at 42 weeks, natural birth.. but it was all worth it. God is good. I’m now a mom to a healthy beautiful baby boy who shares a bday with my love. Thank you Lord.” She posted.
On July 7 this year, Diamond Platinumz threw a lavish joint party dubbed The Great Gatsby 707, to celebrate two phenomenal women in his life, his mother Sandra Kassim and fiancée Tanasha, who also coincidentally happened to share a birthday.
The singer, who went out of his way to please the two women in his life, bought them similar high-end cars as birthday gifts.
Tanasha and Sandra sharing a birthday took social by storm, and now joining the bandwagon is Diamond and his son, all in the same family, luck or fate?
