Tanzanian music star Nasibu Abdul Juma, popularly known as Diamond Platnumz and his Kenyan girlfriend Tanasha Donna have welcomed their first child, a bouncing baby boy.

The ‘Inama’ crooner couldn’t hide his joy as he took to social media to announce his son’s arrival, a sweet arrival which coincided with his birthday.

Diamond, who turned 30 years old on the same day his son with Tanasha was born, shared a photo of himself holding the newborn in his arms.

“Happy Birthday to us,” Diamond captioned the photo.

On her part, the NRG radio presenter also shared the same photo on her Instagram account, saying “Happy birthday to the loves of my life. God is good.”

It is bittersweet for Donna.

The good news comes three days after the beauty lashed out at bloggers for claiming that she lost the baby.

In a strongly-worded post on her page over the weekend, Donna condemned the reports as vile, insensitive, cooked up lies that had no place in her life.

"When one decides to go silent and focus on their brand and family they immediately insinuate you are suffering and start cooking up lies,

“A woman can’t have some privacy without the media and blogs making up 100% pure lies and make up stories for clout, then, when you read the horrible things they write about a child, to make matters worse, all lies, you even wonder what’s wrong with this world.

“Thank God it’s all good energy on my end. I pray for those sad, idle souls. Like they say an idle mind is the devil’s playground,” stated Donna.

Pregnancy announcement.

The two lovebirds announced that they were expecting a son on July 7, 2019, during a birthday event that also celebrated Diamond's mother, Sanura Kasimu.

The new mother in town whose call for privacy is well documented, had declared that she would go at any lengths to protect her child.

Prior to the delivery, she announced that she had agreed with her fiancé not to reveal the name of their then-unborn son for fear of 'wicked people harming him'.

''I am afraid that bad and evil people will harm him, we have already discussed the name but we cannot share it at the moment,” she said in an Instagram live video.

While the boy is her first child, the newborn is Diamond’s 4th. The ‘Kanyaga’ singer already has three other children from his previous relationships.

Two children with Ugandan socialite Zari Hassan and one child with former Miss Tanzania, Hamisa Mobetto.
