I have officially taken a break from dating – Akothee declares

Self-proclaimed president of single mothers in Kenya Esther Akoth alias Akothee is officially single.

This is according to a declaration by the flamboyant entrepreneur on Instagram today, September 21, that she has pulled the plug on romance.

According to the Oyoyo hitmaker, relationships are draining and make her forget who she is.

Akothee noted that her two baby daddies are enough headache and pleaded to be left alone.

“Single and not searching let everyone live a free life that makes them happy, relationships drain me, I forget myself and start investing in my relationship.

“I have officially taken a break from dating anyone or anyone dating me. Leave me alone. I have papa Oyoo and papa Ojwang in my head, it’s enough headache,” announced Akothee.

Pregnancy

Known to speak her mind, fans who have been pestering her with demands on how she was faring following news that she was expectant got a tongue lashing too.

She dared them to return the favour by sharing details of what they won on social media.

“For those waiting for my baby bump photos! I am also waiting for you to upload the title deeds and the logbooks of the cars and houses you posted that you bought.

"Don’t rush me with pregnancy success! I don’t see any man ready to father all of them are afraid,” she said.

Parliament

The controversial singer was on Wednesday 18 handed a leso to cover herself after she showed up at parliament buildings dressed in a miniskirt.

Invited by Nominated MP David Ole Sankok, Akothee maintained that her legs were longer than the skirt.

“It’s my legs that are longer than the skirt, trust me it’s not me, I thought I was officially dressed until I was lessod, well that was fun.

"I have invited the members of parliament to come join me in the official launch of Akothee foundation on the 28th September.

“I can't make a change in Turkana or the lives of people Alone without them! I need everyone’s support thanks a lot waheshimiwa as I wait to see and shake your hands! Next time will come in a trouser,” she said.

Akothee was in Parliament to lobby for the launch of her foundation and interacted with several legislators including Embakasi MP Babu Owino.
