Award-winning photojournalist and human rights activist Boniface Mwangi and his wife Hellen Njeri are talk on social media.

This is after the couple shared photos of their tour of Uganda and more specifically those they took at the just concluded Nyege Nyege Festival in Jinja.

Photos shared by Boniface in his social media accounts captured the couple in never seen before display of affection and expression of love.

one photo had the couple seated on a swing at a garden passionately kissing with Njeri gracefully resting one her legs on her husband’s lap.

And as the day progressed, the two appeared unable to keep their hands off each other.

More pictures taken that night captured the father of three shirtless passionately kissing his wife.

“Kiss. Command. Promise. #nyegenyegefestival,” Mwangi captioned the pictures which he shared on Instagram.

The couple were among hundreds of revellers who travelled from different parts of the world for the popular festival.

Netizens, who were left astonished by that rare side of the vibrant activist, camped at the comment section.

“Love is beautiful….” Wrote Tallia. @rodahdriscilah on Instagram was left wishing she had a man just like the father of three, “If I had a man like you, I would be so happy... Men don't like kissing in public,” media personality Tallia Oyando commented.

While @petercacah joked, “kweli mulikuwa Nyege nyege festival.” On his part, george_abuor wondered, “Somebody hacked your account Bonnie?”

In past interviews, Boniface has always spoken highly of his wife, Njeri. The vocal activist revealed that she has stuck by him, cried and suffered many times because of his activism.

"God got my back and that is why He gave me a revolutionist like her as very few people can marry a 'mad' person like me," said Mwangi in an interview with Milele FM.
