Tanzanian rapper William Lyimo alias Billnass has denied reports that his ex-lover Faustina Charles Mfinanga better known as Nandy took back a car she gifted her photographer and handed it to him.
Speaking to Risasi Jumamosi amidst reports that the two are back together, Billnass stated that the Toyota Crown vehicle in question is not in his possession as claimed.
Billnass clarified that he owns two cars that are registered in his name and that the Crown vehicle was still with the photographer.
“Unajua watu wanapenda sana kuongea ukiangalia gari langu na la yule mpiga picha ni tofauti kabisa, watu wanaongea vitu wasivyovijua,
“Mimi ninamiliki magari mawili siwezi kupewa gari na Nandy tena ambalo ameshampa mtu zawadi,” said Billnass.
Toyota Crown
The car that is alleged to have changed hands was a June 2019 gift by the songstress to her personal photographer Alley Sal.
In a video shared by the singer, Nandy, alongside her team surprised Sal outside his house on his birthday.
“Happy birthday you deserve more than that be humble. My best photographer of all time,” shared Nandy.
Visibly overwhelmed by the gesture from his boss, Sal, on his part, narrated how Nandy had once asked him which type of car he prefers.
“Kuna siku boss wangu aliniuliza unataka gari nikamwambia lolote lilipo ndani ya uwezo. Mungu si athumani,” he wrote.
Nandy and Billnass broke up in 2017 but have been sending mixed signals especially after they dropped a mega jam Bugana mid this year.
