Arguably one of Kenya’s most sought-after female rappers, Fena Gitu, has finally opened up about her academic life back in the days at Precious Blood Riruta.
Speaking to Betty Kyallo, the sensational singer revealed that she scored A- in K.C.S.E, however, she still regrets for not scoring an A.
“Nilipata A-, hadi leo nikona uchungu sikuget A. Niko na uchungu nilifail,” she explained.
She further disclosed that she was a smart kid and really wanted to become an astronaut.
“Becoming an astronaut was my first big dream but then again I wanted to be a pilot. But I was not good in Math, Geography and Physics.”
The award-winning singer went on to prove that she not only has mastered the art of crafting soul-touching lyrics all her life but also at mastered the numbers back in high school.
“I scored an A in Math by the way,” she confessed to Betty.
Now that she just celebrated 10 years in the industry, we surely can’t get enough of her. She has been nominated in this years’ AFRIMMA awards as the Best Female Artist East Africa.
