Why Rayvanny wants to meet 'Vijana Tuache Mihadarati' singer

Stivo Simple Boy of the viral Vijana Tuache Mihadarati song is going places.

This is if a post by Tanzanian singer Raymond Shaban Mwakyusa alias Rayvanny is anything to go by.

According to the singer, Vijana Tuache Mihadarati is a big tune in Kenya that he wants to add his touch on by collaborating with its composer, Stivo.

“The current hit song in Kenya. Vijana tuache, nasema tuache,vi vijana tuache, nasema tuache. X4. Wananguwe nitafutieni huyu jamaa nifanye nae collabo,” wrote Rayvanny on Facebook.

While it is not clear if he made the comment in jest, Rayvanny’s followers shared similar sentiments that he needs to reach out to Stivo.

“Full support kwa huyu dogo wangu uwezo anao na kipaji Mwenyezi Mungu amemjalia,” responded Renxome Vybz Magnetic.

While Sanjay Luther added, “Song zake safi, funzoo,” just to sample but a few.

Who is Stivo Simple Boy?

In an interview with Kibera Creative Arts (KiCA), Stivo disclosed that he is on the right path to revolutionizing conscious hip-hop.

“I started singing in 2006. I was young at the time. In my songs, I just tell people the truth. This can be about drugs, about marriage, about crime, abortion, or many other things.

"I remember that when I started singing, people didn’t like it. Slowly by slowly I continued, and after all, people liked it more and more,” said Stivo.

The Kibera bred rapper noted that hip hop legend turned politician Joseph Haule better known as Professor J is his motivation.

“I often listen to his music and it inspires me. Just like I do, he tells people the truth about their lives.

I’d like people to know that there is somebody called Stivo Simple Boy, and he’s from Kibera,” said the rapper whose dream is to perform in the United States.
