The memorial service for demised Safaricom CEO Bob Collymore will be held on 4 July, 2019 at the All Saints Cathedral, Nairobi.
Through an announcement in the dailies, Safaricom revealed that the cathedral will open at 9:00am and guests will be expected to be seated by 10:30am.
Those unable to get into the cathedral will be able to view the service that will be aires on national TV stations. A live stream of the event will also be broadcasted at Uhuru Park.
Safaricom shops to close
In honour of Collymore, Safaricom shops will be closed countrywide during the memorial from 10:30am to 2:30pm.
According to the telecommunications giant, the move is “to enable his wider family to reflect on his life.”
