Eric’s fallout with potential sponsors came after he was publicly shamed for swimming naked with young Turkana boys which he later apologized for.

“The video was shot as part of my promotion video for a show I have in Turkana over the Easter holidays titled, ‘How To Be A Turkana.’ It will be released next week. The intention was to show the lifestyle of the Turkana people. You see, this place becomes extremely hot in the afternoon and to cool off, the residents opt to swim.  I was capturing their lifestyle. It was not meant to offend anyone, but if the leaked raw video was distasteful, I am very sorry,” Eric said at the time.
