Nairobi governor Mike Sonko and women representative Esther Passaris have both come out to criticize a photoshopped image depicting the duo in bed together.
The poorly edited image seen by SDE depicts Sonko cuddling Passaris as they lie on a bed.
Through a twitter post, Passaris offered a cash reward to anyone who could identify the original images used in editing the photo.
“Sh10,000 Cash Award to anyone who can identify the three original photos used in this lame photoshop mash up,” wrote Passaris.

Sonko’s response
On his part, Sonko pointed out that he does not hug from behind.
“I can see some idleness by some hired people here. This is photoshop I don't hug from behind,” stated the governor.

The two leaders have been in the headlines following a Madaraka Day spat that saw Passaris walk out of the celebrations.
In a Jeff Koinange Live interview that was cut short after Sonko levelled several accusations against Passaris, the controversial governor claimed that the women rep had lured him to a hotel room.
“Hata mimi ni bwana ya mtu na akikuja (Esther Passaris) hapa nitamuuliza kwanini ananiita Intercontinental kwa room… we want leaders who respect families,” Sonko claimed.
In her rejoinder, Passaris said that she is engaging with her lawyers and other relevant government agencies on the matter.
"I will use every single rule and law and be guided by this constitution to ensure that this is the last time that somebody uses falsehood to bring down a woman or to bring down a woman leader. I am holding my head high because that is my right from my Maker and I have nothing to be ashamed of, the only thing I am ashamed of is the people telling horrific lies," she said.
