If there’s one thing we know for sure, it’s that Nairobi county Governor Mike Sonko does not hold back when it comes to celebrating his family member’s special days.

Last week, Sonko’s adopted son, Master Satrine Osinya turned 7 and as usual, the governor came through and threw Satrine a lavish, intimate birthday party.

Sonko took to Instagram to reflect on how far his boy, Satrine has come and wished him a happy birthday making it clear his post was not meant for PR purposes.

“This is God's miracle not PR. We adopted Baby Satrin Osinya to be part of our family when he was one and a half years old after his mum was shot dead by terrorists at Joyland church in Likoni.

"The devil continues to be a liar and always defeated Baby Osinya is now master Osinya as today just a few minutes ago he turned 7yrs old. As a family, we thank God for making you become a blessing to us. May you grow in wisdom and favour of God. We love you so much. Happy birthday to you,” he wrote.

Primrose Mbuvi, Satrine’s adoptive mother also celebrated her son with a post on her social media page with the caption,

“7 years old today and totally awesome. Happy birthday my son.”

Satrine’s 6th birthday

Are you wondering what you could get a 6-year-old for his or her birthday? Maybe you could get gift ideas from Sonko.

The Nairobi Governor Mike Mbuvi Sonko gifted his adopted son Satrine Osinya a brand new Mercedes Benz in 2018 during his sixth birthday.

He also threw Osinya a huge birthday party with his friends and family in attendance.

Satrine Osinya’s Adoption

Baby Osinya made headlines after the attack at the Joy in Jesus Christ Church, Likoni, where his mother died.

The same bullet his mother, Veronica Osinya, succumbed to was later found in baby Osinya’s brain.

The baby was admitted at Kenyatta National Hospital where a team of neurosurgeons removed the bullet in a procedure on April 1.

The then senator took responsibility and vowed to pay both Satrine and his brother Gift's school fees assuring the father, Benson Osinya, that he would help raise them.
