Gospel artist Kambua’s pregnancy news has taken over the internet with fans and celebrities from all over the country sending congratulatory messages to the singer.

Her husband, Pastor Jackson Mathu who rarely shares pictures of his family, on this special occasion took to Instagram to thank God for their beautiful blessing in a touching message to his wife.

He posted a picture of Kambua holding her beautiful bump with a quote from the book of Isaiah 60:22 that said,

“The smallest family shall multiply into a clan; the tiny group shall be a mighty nation. I, the Lord will bring it all to pass when it’s time. #AnatimizaAhadi,”

During an interview at a local TV station, the Rauka show host explained how she was constantly asked when she will get a child considering she has been married for close to 7 years and is ‘running out of time.’

“Today I saw a comment and deleted it because this guy commented on my Instagram and he says ‘When are you going to get pregnant, you’re getting old. I remember thinking, the reason why it angers me is because people don’t even know what your journey is like. They don’t know what you’re struggling with.

“They don’t know if you even what to have children. They don’t know if you can have children and there are so many people especially today who are struggling with infertility. It so unfortunate that we become such a culture of being so intrusive and putting people down,” said Kambua.

God’s Timing

Despite the negative and intrusive comments, Kambua said she kept her faith in God’s perfect timing and is now expecting her first child with her husband after 7 years of marriage.

The ‘Nishikilie’ singer’s comment section is not the same as it is filled with more messages of hope and faith from her fans.
