I bet most people if not all, especially those on social media have heard the famous, ‘Mathwiti na Makeki’ slang.
The boy behind it, James Mbugua from Ndumberi, Kiambu County has landed himself an ambassadorial deal with Valentines Cake House.
Appearing on Chipukeezy show “The Funny Truth 4”, an elated James could not hide his joy when he received the news.
Good will
Comedian Eric Omondi and Chipukeezy organised a fundraising to help James financially. The fundraiser has seen a number of politicians and business owners including, Nyali MP Mohammed Ali and Secretary of Digital Communication at State House Dennis Itumbi lend a helping hand.
In February this year, Kameme FM’s presenter Muthee Kiengei wa Watoria also visited James at his home and gifted him with several items including clothes, food, drinks, a bike and a massive cake, like the one he craved.
The video, recorded by the boy’s uncle 5 years back only surfaced on the internet a few months ago.
The ‘young’ James Mbugua is seen fantasizing about sweets and cakes in his vernacular language after being chased away from a birthday party for not being as clean as the rest of the kids.
