Eldoret is also kicking out the old matatus giving way for sexier Nganyas to woo youthful passengers.
Take a mathree plying Langas dubbed Rapture-it is favourite among residents.
Rapture boasts of a main 43-inch LED screen, four 17-inch screen for passengers at the back and good quality music.
The mathree’s roof and a section of it has a brand of soft leather and ‘grass’ carpet that gives it friendly glow at night.
Gatimu Mwangi, one of the fans told Ma3 Culture, “it’s one of the best mathree because of its quality music and different look.”
Gatimu said Nganyas like Rapture are advantaged because of the number of passengers in Langas including college students.
