Veteran Kenyan artist Simon Kimani better known in the hip hop circles as Bamboo is officially off the market.
The legendary Compe hitmaker wedded his Ugandan fiancée on Saturday, February 16, in Ruiru, Kiambu County.
On hand to witness Bamboo’s glorious day were his musical siblings, sister Victoria Kimani and brother Kimya Khalifa alias Kimya among others.
“What a Glorious Day!!! Please help me congratulate my big brother Bamboo and my new sister Erica on their wedding day!!” Wrote Kimani.
Bamboo credits the Ugandan evangelist cum singer as the force behind his switch to gospel music and salvation.
Saturday was a busy day on the wedding front.
As Bamboo was exchanging his vows, Langata MP Nixon Korir was also across town wedding his long-time lover Beryl Zoraima at an exclusive wedding held at the Karen Blixen Museum in Nairobi.
Friday also saw NTV anchor Dennis Okari say "I Do" to fiancé Naomi Joy at an invite-only wedding held at Ridgeways Baptist Church, Nairobi.
