A sentiment shared by journalist Mike Okinyi who wrote, “Go well Odu Cobra.....you tried your best to escape but they got you. We celebrate your birthday today knowing you are a hero. Wadau TV will live on.....”
FKF President Nick Mwendwa also mourned the passing of the football guru saying he will be missed but not forgotten.
“Fare thee well my friend. Your good spirit will live on in football. You did your part. We shall do ours and remember you,” wrote Mwendwa.
Cobra was part of the Wadau Tv crew.
President Uhuru Kenyatta in his address to the nation early today morning while revealing that the death toll stood at 14 people, over 700 civilians were evacuated to safety.
The attack happened at around 3pm on Tuesday.
