Migori Woman Representative Pamela Odhiambo has been rushed to hospital after a vehicle she was travelling in was involved in an accident at Winyo, along the Rongo - Homa Bay road.
The driver was reportedly trying to avoid hitting a boda boda rider when the double-cab vehicle lost control and overturned.
According to Rongo OCPD Peter Kirui, Odhiambo sustained injuries and was rushed to a Kisumu hospital.
Her driver, Fred Owich died on the spot. They were travelling to Homa Bay to join Baringo Senator Gideon Moi at a fundraiser.
