Pastor Kanyari has refuted claims that he has married a young woman who he allegedly lives with.
“I am not married yet but when I do, I will tell you. That woman you are claiming to be my wife is my personal assistant and there is nothing wrong about that,” he said.
Rumours doing rounds in Kanyari’s Chokaa neighbourhood along Kangundo Road is that he has won over a sexy and beautiful woman three years after separating from his wife, Betty Bayo.
Residents and neighbours of Chokaa claim that a woman is often seen with Kanyari at his palatial home or in his range rover.
According to one of his pastor neighbours, the woman was first spotted with him in his car in May this year. However, people did not read much until she moved in with the pastor.
“This woman has been living here since May and he always carries her in his range rover wherever he goes,” he said, adding, “I think this is spoiling the name of pastors since a pastor needs to marry officially through a wedding, not cohabiting. This is sending the wrong message to our youth.”
‘Prophet’ ‘Dr’ Victor Kanyari of Salvation Healing Ministry was exposed to performing dubious miracles and asking faithful to ‘plant seed’ by sending him Sh310 via mobile phone money transfer.
“It is true that I was urging the callers to send Sh310 seed, but I made it clear that the money was meant to run expensive programmes on television since decamped after the scandal.
