The much-anticipated collabo between East Africa’s Afro Soul Queen Atemi Oyungu and veteran musician Nameless is out.
The song, titled “Romantic”, was a product of their project dubbed #InspiredByKenya in which the two celebrates their love for this beautiful Country.
It started as a challenge from Atemi Oyungu to Nameless to hop on a duet with her. According to Atemi, she challenged Nameless to co-write the song so as to bring out the romantic side of Kenyan men.
In the song, the two play love birds and encourage one another that it is time to let go of the little things that create differences between them and get Romantic.
“You say that you’re right and I’m wrong, you say I shouldn’t answer your phone, you see arguments when I’m showing you love, let’s have no regrets only kisses and hugs. I just want some romance love is not just by chance,” sings Atemi.
During the launch, Atemi disclosed that the song tells of the African love story and they had partnered with Leleshwa Wines in a campaign dubbed Inspired by Kenya to celebrate the beauty of Kenya.
