Tanzanian singer Ommy Dimpoz is in Nairobi after jetting in from South Africa where he had gone for throat surgery.
Through a post on Instagram, KTN’s - Burudani Tv- Mzuqa Bomba host, Jamal Gaddafi, posted that Dimpoz was recuperating well in the city.
Gaddafi stated that the ‘Badae’ hit maker can eat, talk, walk but his voice was not yet healed fully.
He added that the Tanzanian’s rendezvous in Nairobi was part of a follow-up on the surgery done in SA.
As earlier reported by SDE, Dimpoz is said to have gone into a comma for 9 days during initial hospitalization.
He reportedly experienced further complications after his throat surgery following weeks of having a hard time swallowing.
The hospital bills were reportedly taken care of by Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho.
