American actor Dwayne Johnson aka The Rock has been impressed after hearing a line from Stella Mwangi's song No Games.

Arguably one of the best actors in Hollywood, The Rock posted on social media a snippet of HBO's popular series "Ballers" that used No Games as a soundtrack, and went on to reveal a punchline in the song revolving around his name that wowed him.

“Oh Lord look what I got though, No Dwayne but I Rock though” the Norwegian-based rapper rhymes.

“Shout to bad ass rapper @stellamwangi for the dope lyrics – clearly I’m biased” captioned The Rock after hearing the line.

Her song was featured in episode 4 --Forgiving is Living -- of the HBO hit series.

Mwangi, who has penetrated Hollywood this year more than ever and has been getting name drops from top industry players all over the world, was equally impressed after the The Rock's shout out.

“When The Rock gives u a shout out Shout out to my Producers,” she captioned when re-sharing the post on her social media platform.

No Games, which was released in April this year and also used in an international Samsung campaign after she was named brand ambassador, isn't the first project from the rapper that has gotten such attention.

Last year, Tommy Hilfiger bought two of her songs -- Work and Get Up and Go which were used in two separate campaigns, Tommy Hilfiger Summer Spring Collection and Tommy Now respectively.

Stella Mwangi has also made music for movies such as Rough Nights with Scarlett Johansson, Bad Moms, American Pie Presents: The Last Mile, Save the Last Dance 2 and also in TV-series such as CSI: NY and Scrubs.

Recently, her song Repeat off her second Hollywood EP dubbed Not Your Ordinary was used in Basketball Wives Season 7.

In June, she performed at The Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, a show that saw big shots such Tyler Perry attend.

In an interview with a popular magazine, Mwangi, 32, confessed that she started pushing her music to Hollywood guys since 2005 and it finally happened in 2017.

"A lot of guys say you're so lucky to get your songs in movies, but I'm trying to tell them it's been 10 years! It's a whole mission, all about connection and having people throughout your journey that believe in what you do," she said.
