Singer Avril has not been releasing music lately because she took a break. The singer delivered a baby girl in April and has been focusing on her new-born.
On social media, a fan inquired why she hasn't hit the studio for such a long time to which she responded: "Took some time off but you’ll hear from me soon."
Soon is rather too vague.
It's been a year now since the singer released her last song "Babiee" featuring Apass. For the better part of 2018, the singer has been in the headlines because of her child that many are itching to know the father.
Six months on, Avril hasn't shared much though perennial rumours have always claimed its J Blessing.

On his part, J Blessing said in an earlier interview that he is not interested in entering into another relationship after his failed marriage to Tokelezea hit maker, Chantelle.
"I am in a transition in my life and everything will be okay. Where I am right now I have so much going on that I don't think relationship is one thing I will endorse. There is so much in my bowl, I have work, I have products that I want to bring out, I have a child... a beautiful daughter and so relationship is somewhere but not...” J Blessing said.
Avril has for long been rumoured to be in a relationship with the music video director though the two have always stayed mum.
