Birdman and Lil Wayne’s beef has finally been put to rest after Birdman publicly apologized to Wayne at this year’s Lil’ Weezyana festival in New Orleans.
Their beef, which was brought about by legal issues that commenced in 2015 saw Wayne sue Cash Money for $51million (Sh5.1 billion) over allegations of violating contract terms.
Following the suit, the two agreed to settle out of court dropping the charges with a cash settlement thereafter.
During his fourth festival, the A Milli rapper brought out Birdman as a surprise guest right before they both performed together.
Birdman acknowledged to have messed up their once close relationship saying "I’m sorry; I knew this day was going to come, but I didn't know when it was going to come."
The two are however still in business together regardless of the earlier misunderstanding they had.
According to reports, Wayne’s album Tha Carter V that was delayed due to the misunderstanding is scheduled to be released later this year.
