Comedian Jalang'o has confirmed that he will contest for the Langata parliamentary seat come 2022.
The comedian has never shied away from his political ambitions. He started out with hopes of being a governor in Siaya but quickly changed tune after realizing he's competition was tougher than he estimated.
This time round, he told fans his current dream is to win the seat from the current MP Nixon Kiprotich Korir. Other celebs such as DJ Mo and Betty Kyalo have also hinted joining the political world soon.
On Instagram's question and answer feature that has seen celebs and fans engage in a deeper, one-on-one interaction, Jalang'o also answered a few other questions that ranged from personal life to his thriving career.
He told fans that he's currently working on a new TV show on K24, his other upcoming show with longtime friend Otos that has been in the pipeline for almost an year now will start airing next month, and that he's also starting a foundation soon.
Surprisingly, Jalang'o replied with a stern "No" after being asked whether he's single.
The comedian, 35, has not spoken much about his love life since parting ways with baby mama Cheptoek Boyo who they have a daughter together.
As busy as Jalang'o might be, he still has time for school. He told a fan that he doesn't have a degree yet but he is currently studying Community Development at Daystar University.
