Growing up right before our eyes, Malik Lemuel aka Govi has become of official age after he clocked 18.
The former child star who grew to popularity after his debut in Machachari several years ago, took to his social media with a special birthday message to himself alongside a number of photos since he was a baby.

A guy known personally by few and known by many coz of an electronic box...man for all the people who've been by my side I love ya’ll. And for the filmmakers in KE let’s take this Kenyan dream overseas. Birthdays are gifts to each and every human and when it's yours enjoy it to the fullest. Once again thanks and I love you all,” he posted.
His proud mother on the other hand had a special message to her first born son.
“Today is a big day praise the Lord with me as I celebrate my son Lemuel as he turns 18, you're my firstborn, my strength, and the first fruit of my vitality. Years have flown by and here you are now, you are one of God’s most beautiful masterpieces. Today is a day to celebrate His works and a gift to us all. Thank you for the warmth you have brought to our lives.

I can go on and on ,I decree and declare May you my son Lemuel walk before God, as King David walked, with integrity of heart and uprightness, doing according to all that You have commanded him, and keeping Your statutes and rules (1 Kings 9:4). Like Timothy, may you my son Lemuel be an example to believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, and in purity (1 Timothy 4:12) and finally when all is said and done and you have lived and served Christ to the full age may you make heaven in Jesus name. Besides being an exceptional actor Govi is also an ambassador for the United Nations’ FAO Eat Fish for a Better Life campaign.
