An official of a county government in the Rift Valley is smiling all the way to the bank after she succeeded in a sh40 million deal with a motor vehicle dealer that is said to have put a governor in awkward position.
Immediately after the vehicles were delivered to the county, she purchased a brand new vehicle- with a kick back she allegedly got from the dealers after ensuring the deal was a success.
The lady, an adviser to the county chief, recently acquired a prime property in the county.
Many wonder how the lady whose academic credentials are being questioned and earns a salary which Grapevine established is hardly Sh100, 000 a month, is able to acquire property at the rate that she is doing.
She has since left tongue wagging after working as an adviser for just 11 months, with her change of fortune likely to attract the attention of the anti-graft agency.
