After playing lover in Willy Paul’s I Do video, a sensational collabo that saw the two claim that they were in love, Jamaican singer Alaine has now gone gospel.
The singer surrendered to God last Saturday and got baptised at a Kingston, Jamaica, church named Pure in Heart Ministries International Church.
Among the first people to congratulate her was Willy who described it as the best news he had heard this month.
“That is awesome. See, I keep on telling people not to judge. God will always meet you at the right time. I wish Alaine well. God is good all the time,” Willy told Pulse recalling his critics who faulted him for singing with Alaine when she was still secular.
“Best Saturday morning ever! I love God so much! I got baptised this morning… and what a joy. Behold I do a new thing; now it shall spring forth… shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, rivers in the desert,” Alaine posted, quoting Isaiah 43:19.
