Speculations that bongo star Rich Mavoko is on his way out of Diamond Platnumz’s label WCB are on fever pitch.

Although Mavoko is yet to equivocally deny the reports, the ‘Roho Yangu’ hitmaker edited his Instagram account over the weekend to read ‘Musician from East Africa,’ from what it once read ‘baddest Musician from East Africa, Tanzania signed under WCB.’

In the past few months the artist has been missing in appearances where signed artists under WCB were present.

Unlike his fellow signees' who continue to churn hits after hits, he has not released a song under WCB in five months.

He has also been missing in the label’s promos including an upcoming reality show dubbed ‘Life of Wasafi,’ where the artist was nowhere to be seen.

However, speaking to Tanzania’s Kwanza TV, he stated that he had been missing from the entertainment scene due to personal matters.

According to Mavoko, the label has unrealistic demands and only wants things done their way without putting the artist’s desires into consideration.

He went on to say that Diamond was forever in his case to drop new songs back to back something he finds challenging because of personal engagements.

He refuted claims he had left WCB insisting he is still signed under the label.
