Saumu Mbuvi, Nairobi governor Mike Sonko’s daughter has addressed allegations by an irate woman on social media that she is a husband snatcher.
The woman accused Saumu of breaking her marriage.
After making a major announcement via her social media that led many to believe that she was getting married, the drama started after she unveiled her mystery man for the whole world to see.
“I am very happy with my husband…oh sorry my fiancé,” she said a few days ago in an Instagram live video while she hid the identity of her bae.
Going by the name Olowoshibi1, the follower accused her of being a home wrecker.
“God is watching you. God will never bless you for snatching another woman’s husband,” she posted.
Irked by her claims, Saumu did not take the allegations sitting down.
“Take your fake *** from my page. I know who you are commenting with fake accounts. I don’t take negativity from anyone, Saumu posted.
But the insistent user did not leave it at that.
“No negativity but facts only” Olowoshibi1 replied.
“This man had a life before me, what matters is the life we have now. He was dating someone before he met me and that is very normal,” Saumu threw back at her.
Speaking to a local tabloid, the mother of one was forced to set the record straight about her fiancé’s marital status that had many concerned.
“The man was not married. He was single and I was single too, but maybe he was just somebody’s ex, like I was also somebody’s ex,’’ she said of the man she met while on a flight to the US. And the rest as
they say, is history.
“He has never been married. Maybe he was ever in a relationship, like I was before. People are always
jealous, and those negative things are just from people who are jealous,” she told Word Is.
While little is known about her new boo, she confirmed that wedding arrangements were underway,
and it would be a hush hush affair.
“The wedding is confidential because I do not want to be so obvious like everyone else. I want it to be a surprise but it is there,” she said.
