The body of Patrick Peter, the late son of Tanzanian bongo actress Muna Love has touched down in Dar es Salaam after a short flight from Nairobi.
Muna was overcome by grief at the Julius Nyerere International Airport on seeing the white coffin bearing the body of her son and collapsed.
She had to be carried away by family members who had accompanied her to the airport with hundreds of other mourners.
The body was then ferried to be buried at Mwananyamala, Kinondoni district, Dar es Salaam; the home of his father.
Patrick, 7, passed away in Nairobi’s Agha Khan Hospital a few days ago after being flown to Nairobi for surgery.
