A hawker is facing manslaughter charges after he allegedly murdered his wife.
Samson Nzioki Peter is said to have stabbed his wife, Faith Ndinda Mutungi to death on June 4 after he reportedly busted her kissing another man.
According to police records, the couple, who lived in Pipeline estate had a history of marital disagreements and at some point, Ndinda had accused Nzioki of neglecting his family.

It is reported that in May, Ndinda packed her belongings and left her matrimonial home.
Nzioki later learnt that his wife had been seen in the company of another man which angered him.
The court heard that Nzioki tried to reconcile with her, but she had since moved on with her new man.
On the fateful day on June 4, Nzioki went to look for Ndinda at a hotel where she worked.
He wanted to win her back. However, as he stood outside, he saw Ndinda kissing another man and that is when he attacked her with a knife.

The court heard that he stabbed her twice in the stomach and around the chest.
His efforts to run way were futile as he was restrained by the public who handed him over to police.
He denied the charges and was set free on surety bond of Sh500, 000. His case will be heard on September 11.
