Popular Kenyan rapper Timmy Tdat was on Friday the 15th of June handcuffed by two policemen around Parklands area, Nairobi.
A video circulating on social media showed the two policemen dragging the artist from inside his white car.
Seemingly shocked, Timmy is visibly seen trying to wiggle his way out of the situation.
Circumstances surrounding his arrest and where he was taken by the cops could not be clearly established.
However, the Kasabun hit maker took to Instagram later in the day where he insinuated that the arrest could have been a case of mistaken identity.
‘Mistaken identity it was, more blessings to the Kasabunians (fans) time to enjoy the freedom…’ he posted.
Timmy’s arrest video on Twitter has amassed hundreds of retweets and comments alike.

The artiste set social media on fire barely a month ago after he allegedly undressed a female fan while performing on stage.
The female fanatic was dancing with him on stage after he decided he wanted a better view and lifted the lady’s dress to expose her inner wear. The controversial rapper publicly apologized.
