Colombian-Lebanese singer, songwriter and dancer Shakira, best known for her music and hips movement has once again, for the 4th time, listed her six-bedroom mansion in Miami Beach, Florida for $11.7million(Sh1.2 billion).

The wife of Gerard Pique, a Spanish professional footballer, first acquired the property in 2001 for $3.3 million (Sh330 million) shortly before her first English-language single, “Whenever, Wherever,” hit the U.S. airwaves.

After owning the property for nearly 2 decades, the 8,700-square-foot home has gone through various transformation.

The house is bright and white, with a minimalist, contemporary aesthetic. Double doors open to the dining room, and a large window looks out onto the backyard and pool.

As reported by www.realtor.com , the living room has a modern fireplace, with a silver-framed mirror hanging above it. Three sets of French doors open to the backyard.

It is said that the award-winning pop star commissioned custom furniture in the living room, which looks symmetrical from virtually every angle.

 Inside the mansion

The kitchen is sleek and spare, with gleaming white, European-style cabinets, a double wine fridge, and top-of-the-line appliances.

The entertainment room features nearly floor-to-ceiling windows, with views of the backyard and Biscayne Bay.

Shakira outfitted a bay window with a blue and white couch and hookah. The room includes an all-white pool table, and comfy couch for watching movies.

Shakira previously tried to sell this home: She listed it in mid-2013 for $14.95 million, later trimming the price by $2 million. It's been on and off the market ever since, at one point listing for $13.9 million.

In early 2008, Forbes named Shakira the fourth top-earning female artist in music industry.

She and her partner, own several homes and spend most of their time in Spain.
