A business man with powerful connections has put up a night club at the heart of Saika estate in Nairobi despite protests by parents.

While the man is raking in huge profits, residents claim the club, situated within a dense residential neighbourhood, has turned into a brothel.

They have reported the matter to local administration but the investor would hear none of it. He told concerned parents that “there’s nowhere you will take me.”

There’s fear the club could predispose local youth to indiscriminate sex.

A district hospital administrator in Kiambu County has run down the once popular refugee for patients in the expansive region.

The hospital used to efficiently serve Kenyans from far and wide, but today it is a pale shadow of itself.

We are told there is never enough oxygen, drugs and other items for patients and relatives are forced to pay exorbitantly for the same.

Residents and local leaders have complained to the hospital chief, but he has always boasted of his powerful connections.

Well, soon his chest-thumping will reach his so-called godfathers.
