Young city businessman Ben Kangangi is not a happy man after he almost died over the weekend due to the poor state of our roads.

Taking to his social media he aired his frustrations calling out key leaders in government for making empty promises.

“After queuing for a gruesome three and a half hours in August to vote for MCA, MP, governor and president in the last year general election, I am a bitter and severely frustrated Kenyan.

“Promises were made for better roads and up to par health facilities and even additional stadiums, lol. Instead Nairobi residents have been left at their own mercies with dilapidated roads, dry taps, unemployment, street families amongst many endless ills” his post read in part.

The frustrated Kangangi went on to call out Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko and Senator Johnson Sakaja for sleeping on their job asking them to pull up their socks.

The incident that took place along Waiyaki way left his Panamera’s right tire completely damaged after he hit a pothole that almost cost him his life.

“Fellow Kenyans, we surely deserve better.. Much better than we’ve been made to accept. I almost rolled my car after hitting a massive pothole along Waiyaki way in Westlands over the weekend. Why aren’t we mad? What are my taxes used for?

“I appeal to H. E @governormikesonko, @jsakaja and H. E @president.of.kenya to pull up their socks!! For heaven’s sake please do better..all of you. Whether you voted for Jubilee or not demand better,” He wrote.

Besides the Ksh 29 million luxury four door car Kangangi owns, he has a fleet of other expensive machines including a Range Rover and Mercedes Benz.

It is not clear whether the businessman will take legal action against the County government for damages caused to his Porsche.

Kangangi came into the limelight after Keroche heiress and businesswoman Anerlisa Muigai accused him of being a conman. Ben Kangangi denied the accusations and threatened to sue the Nero CEO for defamation.

The young businessman claims he rose from rugs to riches after winning Ksh 40,000 at a pool game.
